2. cups all purpose flour 1. tbsp baking powder 1 .tbsp sugar 1. tsp. salt 6. tbsp butter 1 cup milk preheat oven to 425 degrees f. whisk together the flour , baking powder, sugar, and salt cut in butter with pastry blender..until the mixture resembl


1In a Large Bowl Combine Flour,Sugar, Salt,Baking Powder,Stir to incorporate ingredients. Add slightly softened butter,
mix until butter is well incorporated .I use a pastry cutter.
Add the milk
dough will be sticky.
Turn the dough unto a slighty floured surface and Knead 15 times.Gently roll or pat the dough to 1 in. thickness.. { i use a dough roller}Cut the bisquits with a cutter.. place on a ungreased baking sheet or pan and bake for 12-15minutes or until golden brown..
MAKES 6 Big biscuits. a 9x9 pan should do great.. for this recipe.. Please note The photo show a double batch.. with a medium size cutter.. making 19 biscuits.
