This recipe is using Pillsbury biscuit Grands and are fried into perfectly plump doughnuts, then dipped into a pumpkin spiced glaze.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 4 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spices
  • 1 tablespoon solid pumpkin from can
  • 1/4 cup coffeemate pumpkin spice creamer or half and half
  • 2 cans (8 ct. ea.) pillsbury grands flaky layers refrigerated biscuits

How To Make grands! pumpkin doughnuts

  • Step 1
    Heat oil in a 2 qt. saucepan and heat to 375^. In a large bowl, beat the next 3 ingredients together with just enough creamer to make a smooth and thick glaze, using a large whisk; set aside. Separate both cans of biscuit dough. Using a small round lid or cookie cutter, cut hole in center of each 16 biscuits.
  • Step 2
    Gently place 2 or 3 biscuits in hot oil( fry holes too). Fry on each side until golden, turning with tongs gently. Remove from oil,rest a second on toweling then immediately dip into pumpkin glaze. Place doughnuts on a cooling rack; cool 3 to 5 minutes or until glaze is set before serving. Thin glaze as needed with the creamer.
