garlic cheddar biscuits

My husband loves the biscuits at Red Lobster but since neither of us really eat seafood there is no reason for us to go there. After some research I finally came up with my own recipe.

Ingredients

  • 1 2/3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil

How To Make garlic cheddar biscuits

  • Step 1
    preheat oven to 450 and use a non stick cooking sheet or grease a cooking sheet
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl combine all dry ingredients and mix with spoon or hands. Add rest of ingredients and mix thoroughly, hands will work best but you can try a spoon.
  • Step 3
    Make little balls out of batter to your desired size, typically makes about 5-6 medium size biscuits. Bake until golden brown. Enjoy them while they are hot.
