Another wonderful Taste Of Home recipe that I pinched. This is something you can whip up on a moment's notice with ordinary ingredients in case hubby brings someone home for dinner unexpectedly. This will make any dinner special.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 cup buttermilk
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh basil
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh rosemary

How To Make fluffy herb drop biscuits

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda. In another bowl, combine buttermilk, oil, basil and rosemary; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.
  • Step 2
    Drop batter by rounded tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto an ungreased baking sheet.
  • Step 3
    Bake in a preheated 450-degree oven for 10-12 minutes or until light brown. Serve warm with plenty of butter.
