I love making these delicious biscuits, especially since they're lower in fat and calories.

  • 2 c
    heart-healthy bisquick baking mix
  • 1/4 c
    chopped walnuts
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 3/4 tsp
    apple pie spice
  • 1/2 c
    apple cider
  • 1/2 c
    peeled, shredded apple, i used granny smith

How to Make Easy, low-fat apple biscuits


  1. Heat oven to 450. Lightly spray cookie sheet w/ cooking spray. In bowl, stir together baking mix, walnuts, sugar and spice.
  2. Add cider and apple. Stir until dough forms. Drop by tbsp ful onto cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 mins, serve warm w/ maple syrup or butter. Or both, lol.
