Cornmeal Drop Biscuits
Feel free to add more cheese to make these biscuits more cheesy!
How to Make Cornmeal Drop Biscuits
- In a bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt and mustard; cut in shortening until crumbly.
- Stir in cheese and milk until just moistened.
- Drop by 1/4 cupfuls 2 inches apart onto a greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 26-28 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
