cathy's beer bread
Five ingredients...flour, baking powder, salt, honey and beer... That's it! This makes a wonderful loaf of hot bread to serve with roast beef, or whatever! You could also spray a muffin pan w/nonstick spray and place the dough in the muffin pans to make biscuits. I have also dropped spoonsful of this dough into chicken broth to make a terrific Chicken & Dumplings! Very versatile and tastes marvelous!

Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 3 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 12 ounces (1 can) of beer
How To Make cathy's beer bread

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9"X5"X3" loaf pan. (Glass is best) In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add honey and beer. Stir until well mixed. Spread dough in prepared pan.

Step 2Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until done. Turn out to cool. Slice after cooling. Makes 1 loaf. Serve warm or cool with butter. YUMMM!
