1Cut the cold butter into the carbquik with either a pastry cutter or two knives, until the mixture resemble coarse meal. Add the shredded cheese, a pinch of salt, garlic powder and blend well.
2Mix the heavy cream with water to equal 1/2 cup of liquid, pour into dry mix. Mix until dough forms and comes together, but do not overwork the dough. If to dry add a little more cream, but just a little at a time.
3Drop the dough onto a lightly greased Cookie sheet approximately 1 ounce size portions.
4Bake in hot oven at 450 degrees for 8-10 minutes until biscuits are golden brown. Biscuits are tender when hot, let cool slightly before serving.
