Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups powdered buttermilk
  • 8 cups all purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons baking powder
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 1/3 cups vegetable shortening

How To Make buttermilk biscuit mix (homemade bisquick)

  • Step 1
    Place all ingredients in a food processor bowl fitted with a metal blade.
  • Step 2
    Process until well mixed. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months. (I keep it in the fridge).
