- 1 1/2 cups powdered buttermilk
- 8 cups all purpose flour
- 4 tablespoons baking powder
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 1/3 cups vegetable shortening

Step 1Place all ingredients in a food processor bowl fitted with a metal blade.

Step 2Process until well mixed. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months. (I keep it in the fridge).
