  • 1 1/2 c
    powdered buttermilk
  • 8 c
    all purpose flour
  • 4 Tbsp
    baking powder
  • 3 Tbsp
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    cream of tartar
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2 1/3 c
    vegetable shortening

How to Make Buttermilk Biscuit Mix (Homemade Bisquick)

Step-by-Step

  1. Place all ingredients in a food processor bowl fitted with a metal blade.
  2. Process until well mixed. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place for up to 6 months. (I keep it in the fridge).
