Bone Appetit Doggie Biscuits

These Doggie Biscuits I give out as gifts to my friends with Dogs and boy, the dogs love them! I make them in big batches several times a year. All healthy ingredients.

3 c
all purpose flour
3 c
whole- wheat flour
3 c
corn meal
1/2 c
powdered milk
3 c
beef broth
1/2 c
creamy peanut butter
2 Tbsp


1Combine first 6 ingredients in a large bowl. Stir in 2 cups broth to a very stiff dough; gradually mix in remaining cup broth to form bread dough consistency, add peanut butter and mix well. On a floured surface, roll dough to 1/4 thickness. Use cookie cutters to cut dough into shapes.
2Place biscuits on a greased baking sheet. Lightly brush the tops of biscuits with milk. Bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes, then turn off oven without removing biscuits. Allow biscuits to sit overnight. Store in an air tight container. Makes 4 1/2 pounds.
3Gift idea!

Pamper pets with a personalized doggie dish with treats. Write their name on it and wrap it up in colored cellophane...tie on a toy and they'll love it.
