THis is not your average baking powder bisquit. The dough is mixed, then dropped with a teaspoon into the melted butter,in a baking pan. Fifteen minutes later you will taste a delishes bisquit with a crunchy,crusted,and with a buttery soft insides.. you positively will not be able to eat just one!! Enjoy! Nancy....10/16/12

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2-1/2 cup flour
  • 1- 1/4 cups sugar .......(revised 3/4 a cup would be fine )
  • 3-1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 9x13 - inch baking pan

How To Make bisquits,sweet & buttery "my dippy do's"

  • Step 1
    Pre-heat oven to 425. Put butter in baking dish, put in oven to melt butter. Remove pan from oven, while making bisquit dough.
  • Step 2
    In a bowl, mix together, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and then the milk. Mix to form a soft dough.
  • Step 3
    Drop dough into pan with melted butter, with a teaspoon. Until the bottom of the pan is covered with the dough.
  • Step 4
    Bake until tops are golden..about 15 to 20 minutes. Remove and let cool.
