We don't have Popeye's Restaurants here in Canada, so I get hungry for their biscuits. I searched for recipes and saw this one and decided to make them tonight. They turned out really beautiful and delicious. My husband is not a bread eater and he actually liked these and ate 2 of them.

Will be making these again. :)

How to Make Almost Popeyes Biscuits


  1. Mix the bisquick and sour cream with a fork. Then add the 7UP and mix well. I sprinkle a bit of bisquick on parchment paper and pour dough mixture on it. It will be wet and sticky. I sprinkled just a small amount of dry bisquick on top of dough and just knead it few times. Pat it out round and leave it about an inch or so thick. I cut them out and placed them in a buttered 13 x 9 glass casserole dish. Baked them at 425 degrees for about 20-25 minutes.
