This pie recipe is easy and quick to make. Very similar to pizza with healthy ingredients. Kids love it.

Ingredients For tomato cheese pie

  • 1 lg
    red tomato
  • 1 lg
    green tomato
  • 4 slice
    mozzarella cheese
  • 1 pkg
    pie crust shell
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 tsp
    oregano, dried

How To Make tomato cheese pie

  • 1
    Slice each tomato into 1/8 inch slices
  • 2
    Layer around pie crust about one inch from outer edge in sequence a red tomato slice followed by a green tomato slice followed by ½ slice cheese. Allow each slice to overlap half of the preceding slice. Continue sequence until pie crust is filled.

    Brush olive oil over pie.

    Sprinkle oregano over pie.
  • 5
    Fold outer inch of pie crust over all around.

    Bake pie in 375° F oven until cheese is melted and crust is golden brown, about 10 - 15 minutes.

    Cut and serve like pizza.
