The Best Baked Tofu
Maggie May Schill
And here is one way how.
I love this recipe to eat straight out of the oven, or to refry into a stir fry later.
Very versatile. Very yummy.

2 Tbspseasame oil
4 Tbspsoy sauce
1 Tbspteriyaki sauce
1/2 tspchili powder
1/2 tspground ginger
1/4 tspgarlic powder

How to Make The Best Baked Tofu
- Preheat over to 400'Florida
Grease a cookie sheet, set aside
- Take tofu out of package and drain
Place tofu between a couple of paper towels, or clean tarry cloths/dish rags. Place a heavy skillet on top of tofu to press out excess moisture. Let sit pressed at least 1 hour.
- Carefully (avoid breaking tofu) dip the tofu planks in the marinade, covering both sides.
Arrange the tofu on the greased cookie sheet and bake for 30 minutes.
Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before handling.
