Tofu absolutely can be delicious! And here is one way how. I love this recipe to eat straight out of the oven, or to refry into a stir fry later. Very versatile. Very yummy.

Ingredients
- 12 ounces block of extra firm tofu
- 2 tablespoons seasame oil
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 pinch black pepper
How To Make the best baked tofu

Step 1Preheat over to 400'Florida Grease a cookie sheet, set aside

Step 2Take tofu out of package and drain Place tofu between a couple of paper towels, or clean tarry cloths/dish rags. Place a heavy skillet on top of tofu to press out excess moisture. Let sit pressed at least 1 hour.

Step 3Once tofu has been pressed of excess moisture, remove from between the towels and cut it into 2 inch planks. Set aside.

Step 4In a small mixing bowl whisky together all other remaining ingredients to make a marinade.

Step 5Carefully (avoid breaking tofu) dip the tofu planks in the marinade, covering both sides. Arrange the tofu on the greased cookie sheet and bake for 30 minutes. Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before handling.
