I was in a snacking mood one Saturday afternoon when I decided to make hummus. I had some cooked butter beans in the freezer. So I decided to give it a try. The butter beans add a really great flavor to this.

Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked butter beans
- - olive oil
- 2 - cloves garlic
- 2 - tablespoons onion
- 1 - jalapeno, seeded and sliced
- - 1 chicken bouillion cube dissolved in 1/4 cup water
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro leaves
How To Make texas hummus

Step 1In food processor add garlic, onion, cilantro, and jalapeno pulse until finely minced. Add butter beans and combine. Add bouillon and water and mix until smooth. While mixing drizzle in olive oil until desired consistency.

Step 2Cut 8 flour tortillas into wedges. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees until crisp about 5 minutes.
