Ingredients For stuffed mushrooms

  • 2 pkg
    button mushrooms
  • 1 sm
    onion, chopped fine
  • 1/3 c
    italian bread crumbs
  • 1/4 c
    parmesan, asiago, romano cheese
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic salt
  • 4 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • DIRECTIONS
  • PULL STEMS OUT OF MUSHROOMS
  • WASH MUSHROOMS AND STEMS
  • CHOP STEMS FINE
  • COOK ONIONS AND STEMS IN ABOUT 3 TLBS OLIVE OIL FOR ABOUT 10 MINUTES
  • REMOVE FROM STOVE AND SPRINKLE WITH GARLIC SALT
  • ADD 1/3 CUP ITALIAN BREAD CRUMBS AND 1/4 CUP GRATED

How To Make stuffed mushrooms

    Pull stems out of mushrooms.

    Wash mushrooms and stems.
  • 3
    Chop stems fine.
  • 4
    Cook onions and stems in 3 tlbs olive oil for 10 minutes.

    Remove from stove and sprinkle with garlic salt.
  • 6
    Add 1/3 cup Italian bread crumbs and 1/4 cup grated cheese mixture and blend together.

    If mixture is still dry, add olive oil until moist.

    Pack mushrooms with above mixture.

    Place mushrooms in a pan greased with a little olive oil.

    Bake uncovered at 350º for 20/25 minutes.
