Italian Nacho Bites

28 slice(1/4 inch thick) of french baguette loaf ; cut into 2 inch diameter pieces or
28pieces of packaged baked pita bread or bagel chips
·olive oil cooking spray
1/2 lbbulk hot italian sausage
2/3 calfredo sauce
1 tspitalian seasoning
1 largetomato or 4 plum tomatoes, seeded and chopped
1 can(s)(2 1/4 oz,) sliced black olives, drained
1 1/2 cmozzarella, shredded
·optional for garnish: fresh parsley, chopped
How to Make Italian Nacho Bites
- IF USING BAGUETTE SLICES: Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a large cookie sheet w/ foil. On the cookie sheet, arrange bread slices with sides touching. Spray tops lightly w/ cooking spray. Bake 6 - 8 minutes or until light golden brown. TO SAVE TIME: Use packaged, baked pita or bagel chips.
- In large skillet, cook sausage over medium high heat for 6 minutes, stirring and breaking into small pieces, until browned; drain. Stir in Alfredo sauce and Italian seasoning.
- Spoon sausage mixture over bread slices. sprinkle with tomato and olives. Top w/ cheese. Bake 5 - 6 minutes or until cheese is melted. If desired. sprinkle w/ fresh parsley. Serve while warm!
