This is one of those appetizers that everyone loves. You are always a winner with your guest when you have this on the appetizer list.It sure captured the taste buds of my guest when I served it at a Valentines dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 pound cream cheese, softened
  • `1 can 14 oz. artichoke hearts, drained & chopped
  • 1 box 10 oz. frozen chopped spinach, drained
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella, optional
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

How To Make hot artichoke dip

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9X13X2 baking dish and set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a medium size bowl combine mayonnaise & cream cheese, mixing until blended and creamy. Add chopped artichoke hearts, drained spinach, and grated cheeses. Mix well and stir in minced garlic & lemon juice.
  • Step 3
    Spread mixture evenly into prepared dish. Cover with aluminum foil, and bake in oven for 15 minutes, then remove foil, and continue baking an additional 5 minutes until hot and bubbly.
  • Step 4
    Serve with bread cubes, crackers, or tortilla chips for dipping.
