Bought this type of dip a few years ago at Grand Union back in NYS & fell in love with it.So I decided to try and come up with my own version, with I hope a little less fat. This is the result; very tastey, if I do say so myself, and also those who have tasted it. Don

Ingredients

  • 1-16oz bottle hidden valley light ranch salad dressing
  • 1 package hidden valley ranch salad dressing mix
  • 1 cup reduced fat buttermilk
  • 1-8oz package reduced far cream cheese(softened)
  • 8 ounces reduced fat sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dill weed
  • 1-2 pound favorite dipping vegetables[e.g. celery, carrots, red/green peppers/green onions, cucumbers,radishes,

How To Make garlic-dill ranch vegetable dip

  • Step 1
    IN large mixing bowl combine all ingredients except vegetables. With electric mixer on low speed or a wire whisk, stir until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed together. Cover and store in refrigerater until few minutes before serving. In Meantime Cut/slice vegetables into dipping portions.
  • Step 2
    when serving, place prepared veggies on a serving plate next to prepared dip. be sure to include small plates for individuals to use for dip & veggies to avoid inadverdant double dipping.
