fried pickles
Family favorite! I am sure the recipe could be halved. This recipe makes enough batter to do A LOT of pickles. We also use the batter on mushroom and other veggies.

How To Make fried pickles
-
Step 1Slice whole pickles into thick slices. It's all a matter of opinion and taste. My family prefers slices. But you can use hamburger chips, or spears also.
-
Step 2Heat oil
-
Step 3In a bowl mix all remaining ingredients to make batter. Batter should be the consistency of pancake batter. add more water to thin more flour to thicken
-
Step 4dip spears into batter and fry until golden brown. Place on a paper towel to cool slightly. If the oil is to hot batter will not adhere if its to cool pickles will be greasy. Between Medium and High works best on my stove.

Step 5Serve warm
