I love to make these plantains even spicier with more crushed red pepper! Combined with the cooling ranch, this is super quick to make!

Ingredients
- 3 - plantains
- 2 teaspoons cumin
- 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup frank's red hot sauce
How To Make firecracker plantains

Step 1I use ghee (or coconut oil) to fry the plantains on medium heat until golden brown. (1-2 tbsp of oil to fry)

Step 2Once they are browned on each side, toss with all the other ingredients and serve warm! I love to dip them in ranch dressing.
