These are so good and so easy. You may want to add just a touch of green food coloring to dress them up, but it is not absolutely necessary.

- 2 pounds small zucchini
- 2 - small onions
- 1/4 cup table salt
- 2 cups white vinegar
- 2 1/4 cups white sugar
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- 2 teaspoons mustard seed
- - green food coloring
How To Make even i can make 'em pickles!!!

Step 1Wash and slice the zucchini pretty thin.

Step 2Peel and slice the onion thin.

Step 3Toss zucchini and onion together.

Step 4Cover the zucchini and onion slices with the water and salt.

Step 5Let stand for two hours.

Step 6Drain thoroughly.

Step 7Bring the vinegar, sugar, celery seed, turmeric and mustard seed to a good boil.

Step 8Add green food coloring, if desired.

Step 9Let stand two more hours.

Step 10Bring the entire mixture to a boil, and boil for five minutes.

Step 11Pack in hot sterilized jars and seal.
