chili cheese puff

A neighbor of mine from many years ago gave me this recipe its great for anytime. Appeitier, snack, pinic, sidedish or entree with a nice salad.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 9 - eggs
  • 4 cups shredded monterey jack cheese
  • 2 cups 1% low fat cottage cheese
  • 2 cans (4ounces each) diced chilies, drained
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1 cup prepared salsa

How To Make chili cheese puff

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350F. Spray 13x9-inch baking dish with nonstick spray.
  • Step 2
    Combine flour and baking powder in a small bowl. Whisk eggs in a large bowl until blended;stir in monterey jack,cottage cheese,chiles, sugar, salt and hot sauce. Add flour mixture; stir just until blended. Pour into prepared dish.
  • Step 3
    Bake uncovered, 45 minutes or until set. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
