cheese squares
(1 RATING)
This is the most tedious appetizer I make. Make sure you have most of the day to do these and your bread is frozen good and hard. BUT they are so good you will be very picky on whom you share them with because you will want to keep them all for yourself. YES they are that good. Mixture can be frozen if you want to finish another time or run out of bread.

Ingredients
- 1 pound butter soften
- 4 small jars ..old english sharpcheese
- 1 1/2 teaspoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon tabasco
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- dash - pepper
- 2 teaspoons dry dill weed
- 1 teaspoon bon appetit spice
- 8 to 10 - loaves of cheep white bread frozen
How To Make cheese squares
-
Step 1Cream well all but bread.
-
Step 2When bread is frozen ( this is the key to making this go much easier) Take 3 pieces at a time and cut the crust off. Then you want to spread the mixture on the top of all three pieces and satck on top of each other. Then you want to cut it into 4 square and spread the mixture on all side but NOT the bottom. NOW you have made 4 appetizers.( I only pull one loaf of bread out of the freezer at a time)
-
Step 3Repeat till all the mix is gone. (mixture can be frozen if you do not want to do all at once)
-
Step 4I freeze these on a cookie sheet till hard again and place in zip lock bags.
-
Step 5Bake 350 till lightly brown on top about 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet. No need to thaw before cooking.
