If you are having a party you will love serving this easy & impressive platter of appetizers. You can also use cream cheese instead of peanut Butter, or a combination of both on the same platter if desired.Since this is from years ago, I only have a picture of the finished product.
8-10 stalk(s)celery, cut into 3 inch portions
1 1/2 cpeanut butter
1 craisins or dried cranberries or more as desired
·kale, leaf lettuce or parsley for garnish
·fruit cup for center
1 large18 inch party platter or tray
How to Make Ants on a log
- Wash celery and cut into 3 inch portions. String celery if desired.
- Line large platter on bottom with leaf lettuce, kale or parsley as desired.
- Spoon and fill each celery portion with room temperature peanut Butter, arranged in a spiraled fashioned. NOTE: YOU MAY ALSO USE SOFTENED CREAM CHEESE INSTEAD OF PEANUT BUTTER, OR USE BOTH AS DESIRED.
- Top each celery stick with as few as 3-4 raisins or as many as desired. Keep chilled until ready to serve. Great at a kids party and adults love them too.
