This is an easy appetizer using ingredients you probably already have on hand. Great for on crackers or baguettes slices

  • 1 can(s)
    9 1/4 oz tuna in water, albacore, drained
  • 1/3 c
    lowfat cottage cheese
  • 3 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp
    liquid smoke
  • 1 Tbsp
    capers (opt), for garnish

How to Make Smoky Tuna Spread


  1. Place all ingredients, except capers in food processor and whirl until well combined. You may use an electric mixer but the results should be like a pate
  2. store in a refrigerator, covered
  3. to serve , top with capers and lay out crackers ot baguette slices
