Another appetizer from "Flavors of Cape Cod" cookbook. Just in time for the Holidays!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fillet of flounder or sole
  • - lemon juice to cover fish
  • 1/2 - onion chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed
  • 3 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 - canned green chilis, chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • - salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 - ripe avocado, diced

How To Make seviche (flounder or sole appetizer) cape cod

  • Step 1
    Cut fish fillets into small cubes. Place fish in a glass bowl and cover with lemon juice. Let stand in refrigerator for at least 8 hours or overnight. Add remaining ingredients, except avacado and refrigerate for an hour or so more. When ready to serve, stir in avacados and serve with toothpicks or on top of taco chips.
