This is my recipe for shrimp salad with something a little different. It's a little spicy, a little sweet; creamy and yet crunchy, kind of a yin yang thing. It's great to eat all by itself, or as a sandwich, on crackers for an appetizer, or to use for stuffed tomatoes.

How to Make SASSY SHRIMP SALAD

Step-by-Step

  1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, cocktail sauce, sriracha sauce and salt.
  2. Add shrimp, relish or chopped pickles and celery; mix well. Cover and chill for 1/2 hr before serving.
  3. Serve on bed of torn or shredded lettuce or inside tomatoes that have been hollowed for stuffing.
  4. (*NOTE: You may use sweet pickle relish, chopped sweet pickles, chopped bread and butter pickles or green tomato relish, my personal favorite.)
  5. Cover and refrigerate leftovers.
