Ingredients

1 lb
(large-26/30 count) cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on)
1/2 c
cilantro leaves
2 clove
garlic, peeled and chopped
1 large
lime, zest and juice
1 Tbsp
water
Tbsp
olive oil
salt and pepper, to taste

How to Make Lime and Cilantro Shrimp

Step-by-Step

  • 1Shrimp should be cooled.
  • 2Place all ingredients, EXCEPT SHRIMP, in a food processor and pulse until smooth.
  • 3Place shrimp in a large zipper-type plastic bag and pour marinade over. Squeeze out air and seal bag. "Massage" the shrimp to distribute the marinade.
  • 4Place in refrigerator for a few hours, until chilled. Place shrimp in serving bowl and drizzle some of the marinade over them. Serve chilled.
