  • 1 lb
    (large-26/30 count) cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on)
  • 1/2 c
    cilantro leaves
  • 2 clove
    garlic, peeled and chopped
  • 1 large
    lime, zest and juice
  • 1 Tbsp
  • Tbsp
    olive oil
  • ·
    salt and pepper, to taste

How to Make Lime and Cilantro Shrimp


  1. Shrimp should be cooled.
  2. Place all ingredients, EXCEPT SHRIMP, in a food processor and pulse until smooth.
  3. Place shrimp in a large zipper-type plastic bag and pour marinade over. Squeeze out air and seal bag. "Massage" the shrimp to distribute the marinade.
  4. Place in refrigerator for a few hours, until chilled. Place shrimp in serving bowl and drizzle some of the marinade over them. Serve chilled.
