Ingredients

  • 1 pound (large-26/30 count) cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined (tails on)
  • 1/2 cup cilantro leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
  • 1 large lime, zest and juice
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • tablespoon olive oil
  • - salt and pepper, to taste

How To Make lime and cilantro shrimp

  • Step 1
    Shrimp should be cooled.
  • Step 2
    Place all ingredients, EXCEPT SHRIMP, in a food processor and pulse until smooth.
  • Step 3
    Place shrimp in a large zipper-type plastic bag and pour marinade over. Squeeze out air and seal bag. "Massage" the shrimp to distribute the marinade.
  • Step 4
    Place in refrigerator for a few hours, until chilled. Place shrimp in serving bowl and drizzle some of the marinade over them. Serve chilled.
