8 ozcream cheese, softened
1 tspdijon mustard
2 Tbspdry white cooking wine
17 3/4 oz can of crab meat, drained and flaked
How to Make Hot Crabmeat Dip
- Combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, mustard and salt in the top of a double boiler over simmering water. Stir until smooth and well blended.
- Add wine gradually, then add crab meat. Check seasonings and adjust as needed.
- Transfer to chafing dish (or sometimes I've used a fondue pot) and serve hot with melba rounds or toast triangles for dipping. Yield: about 2 cups
