We make these every time we have people over to watch a game. We have made them with alot of different things mixed in with the cream cheese. We also serve them with a berry sauce to cut down on the spicy effect it has on some people.

Ingredients

How to Make Crab jalapeno poppers.

Step-by-Step

  1. Wash the jalapenos and cut them in half length wise remove the seeds and cut off the stem as close to the end as possible. Put them on a foil lined baking sheet.
  2. Mix the cream cheese and well drained crab meat together into a bowl. (you can use what ever type of crab meat or shrimp you like) after you mix the items completely fill in the jalapeno halves.
  3. After all of the jalapeno halves are filled sprinkle with paprika. Then you take one strip of bacon and wrap it all the way around the jalapeno half. You may secure the bacon with a tooth pick if you wish.
  4. After all of the jalapeno halves are wrapped with bacon and placed on the foil lined baking sheet put them into a pre-heated oven at 400 degrees for around 15-20 minutes or until the bacon is crisp. Take them out and sprinkle with a little bit more paprika and serve.
