I love mussels so I'm always coming up with new ways to prepare them. Anytime I make mussels, they are a huge hit with my family and friends. If you like mussels, you are gonna love my easy peasy recipe! CookingwithLove&Passion sw :)

Ingredients

  • 12 - new zealand mussels, thawed & cleaned
  • 3 - garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tablespoons butter, unsalted
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sriracha
  • 2 teaspoons miso
  • 1 small lemon zest, grated
  • 2 ounces cotija cheese
  • 2 stalks chive blossoms, chopped

How To Make bombdiggidy baked mussels

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 420 degrees F
  • Step 2
    Add garlic and butter to microwaveable dish, melt butter
  • Step 3
    Combine mayo, sriracha, miso and lemon zest in a small mixing bowl.
  • Step 4
    Place mussels on foiled-lined cooking sheet; spoon butter/garlic mixture over mussels followed by mayo/sriracha mixture. Top with cotija and chives.
  • Step 5
    Bake for 10 minutes. Remove shells carefully, they are hot. Enjoy!
