- PLAN/PURCHASE
- THE WINGS
- 1 pound chicken wings, about a dozen
- 1 tablespoon grapeseed oil
- salt, kosher variety, to taste
- black pepper, freshly ground, to taste
- THE GLAZE
- 3 tablespoons fresh clover honey
- 1 tablespoon hot sauce, i prefer frank’s
- 1 pinch cayenne pepper, or more to taste

Step 1PREP/PREPARE

Step 2You will need a baking sheet, with a fitted wire rack for this recipe.

Step 3Gather your ingredients (mise en place).

Step 4Place a rack in the middle position, and preheat the oven to 425f (220c)

Step 5Add the grapeseed oil to a bowl, toss in the wings, and then add a bit of salt & pepper to taste.

Step 6Place the wings on a parchment-lined baking sheet, fitted with a wire rack.

Step 7Bake until the wings are nice, and brown, and crispy, about 20 – 25 minutes.

Step 8While the wings are baking combine the honey, the hot sauce, and cayenne pepper in a small bowl.

Step 9Take the wings out of the oven, and brush on the glaze.

Step 10Return to the oven for about 3 – 5 minutes.

Step 11PLATE/PRESENT

Step 12Serve while nice and hot with your favorite dipping sauce, or just eat them as is. Enjoy.
