Spicy cajun mini meatballs are a great appetizer! I made them w/ ground turkey to make it healthier, but you can use ground beef.

  • 1 lb
    ground turkey breast
  • 1-1/2 tsp
    bottled hot pepper sauce
  • 2 Tbsp
    cajun seasonings
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried parsley
  • 1/4 c
    finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 c
  • 1/4 c
    1% milk
  • 1 large
  • 1/2 c
    favorite bbq sauce
  • 1/2 c
    low-sugar peach preserves

How to Make Kicking Cajun meatballs


  1. Heat oven to 350. Spray a lg, rimmed cookie sheet w/ cooking spray. In lg bowl, mix together ground turkey, hot pepper sauce, cajun seasoning, worcestershire sauce, parsley, onion, breadcrumbs, milk and egg. Mix thoroughly.
  2. Form the mix into golfball-size meatballs. Place meatballs on baking sheet. Bake 30 min, or until no longer pink inside.
  3. In small bowl, combine w/ a whisk, the BBQ sauce and preserves. Place meatballs in a lg serving dish, pour sauce over meatballs and toss to coat. Serve w/ toothpicks.
