  • 3 lb
    chicken wings
  • 1
    egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 c

  • 3 Tbsp
    soy sauce
  • 3 Tbsp
  • 1 c
    white sugar
  • 1/2 c
    white vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp

How to Make Japanese Chicken Wings


  1. Preheat your oven to 350*.
  2. Dip wings in egg and coat with flour.
  3. Heat the butter in a large skillet over med.-high heat. Fry the wings until they are a deep brown. Place them in a shallow roasting pan.
  4. In a small mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, water, sugar, vinegar, garlic powder and salt. Pour the mixture over wings.
  5. Bake in 350* oven for 30 to 45 minutes, basting wings every 20 minutes with the sauce.
