How to Make SuperJalapeno Poppers
- Heat oven to 300 degrees. Wearing rubber gloves to protect your skin, wash the jalapenos then cut off stems and slice in half long ways. Take a teaspoon and scoop out seeds and membranes in peppers. Wash to remove any lingering seeds.
- Mix the cream cheese and chives thoroughly and place a spoonful in each jalapeno, filling them and smoothing them out.
- Cut the bacon in half and wrap each half around a jalapeno securing with a toothpick if needed. Place on a cookie sheet.
- Place cookie sheet in oven and bake slowly until bacon is done to your liking. You may want to turn them after a few minutes to cook the bacon on the bottom. (If you prefer, you may broil these. However, watch carefully and turn them over because they will burn quickly!!)
