Slow Cooker Crock Pot


  • 2 c
    raw cashews (unsalted)
  • 1 tsp
    chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 2 tsp
    fine seal salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    extra-virgin olive oil

How to Make Spiced-Up Cashews


  1. In a 3 1/2 qt. slow cooker stoneware insert, combine cashews, chili powder, cayenne, and cinnamon. Stir to combine thoroughly. Cover and cook on HIGH for 1 1/2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes until nuts are nicely toasted.
  2. In a small bowl, combine sea salt and olive oil. Add to nuts in slow cooker and stir thoroughly to combine. Transfer mixture to a serving bowl and serve warm or allow to cool.
