- 3/4 stick butter or margarine
- 1 package spicy breakfast sausage
- 1 package cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 small onion
- 1/2 cup pepperidge farm herb stuffing mix
- 1 clove garlic
- 24 medium mushroom caps
- - fresh parsley for garnish
How To Make sausage stuffed mushrooms

Step 1Wash mushrooms, remove stems, place caps bottoms-up in rows on cookie sheet.

Step 2Brown sausage until crumbly, drain fat.

Step 3Saute onion until tender.

Step 4Mix onion, cream cheese and cooked sausage in bowl.

Step 5Add breadcrumbs until mixture holds together with stuffing consistency.

Step 6Fill mushroom caps.

Step 7Add a small parsley sprig and bake 15-20 minutes at 350 degrees.
