rye boat chipped beef dip

One of my mom's favorite dips that she used on her Christmas Eve buffet. You can put this in a hollowed out rye bread, or just serve with assorted crackers or raw veggies. It's addictive!

Ingredients

  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1 1/3 cups mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons dill weed
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 small jars dried chipped beef, chopped fine
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons horseradish
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons hot sauce
  • 1 teaspoon or more worchestershire sauce

How To Make rye boat chipped beef dip

  • Step 1
    Dice the beef and onion.
  • Step 2
    With an electric mixer mix the sour cream and mayo well, add everything else.
  • Step 3
    Cover and chill.
  • Step 4
    This is especially nice in a round of pumpernickle or Rye bread, but crackers and raw veggies are good go withs as welll.
