Rye Boat Chipped Beef Dip

One of my mom's favorite dips that she used on her Christmas Eve buffet.
You can put this in a hollowed out rye bread, or just serve with assorted crackers or raw veggies.
It's addictive!

  • 1 pt
    sour cream
  • 1 1/3 c
  • 2 tsp
    dill weed
  • 1 small
    onion, finely chopped
  • 2 small
    jars dried chipped beef, chopped fine
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp
  • 1 to 2 tsp
    hot sauce
  • 1 tsp
    or more worchestershire sauce

How to Make Rye Boat Chipped Beef Dip


  1. Dice the beef and onion.
  2. With an electric mixer mix the sour cream and mayo well, add everything else.
  3. Cover and chill.
  4. This is especially nice in a round of pumpernickle or Rye bread, but crackers and raw veggies are good go withs as welll.
