Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp
    unsalted butter
  • 4 large
    ripe pears, peeled, cored & diced
  • 1 Tbsp
    granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1 pinch
    salt and pepper
  • 2 c
    chicken broth
  • 2 Tbsp
    sliced almonds, toasted
  • 1 c
    half and half
  • 1/2 c
    rose petals

How to Make ROSE PETAL SOUP

Step-by-Step

  1. Melt in butter in a large saucepan. Add the pears and saute tossing often, until golden on all sides.
  2. Add the sugar, ginger, salt/pepper, and stir to combine. Add the chicken broth and bring the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for 10 mins. to melt the flvours.
  3. Transfer the broth mixture to a blender and add tthe top toasted almonds, half & half, and 1/4 cup of rose petals. Puree the soup until smooth.
  4. Chill the soup throughly before serving. Garnish with the remaining rose petals.
