I love appetizers and if you love mushrooms this one is delicious. If you are in need of an interesting and new appetizer, this is it!

8 count crescent rolls
8 oz. cream cheese
1 can(s)
4.5 oz. mushrooms
green onions
1 Tbsp
dill, fresh
egg, beaten
1 Tbsp
poppy seeds

How to Make Mushroom Crescents


  • 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  • 2Roll out crescents to seal perforations.
  • 3Blend together cream cheese, mushrooms, dill and green onions.
  • 4Spread over dough.
  • 5Roll as a jellyroll.
  • 6Freeze for 15 minutes.
  • 7Slice into 1 inch pieces.
  • 8Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle poppy seeds over top.
  • 9Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 7 - 8 minutes.
  • 10If you are preparing for a party, keep cut pieces refrigerated, and just before guests arrive, brush with egg and sprinkle seeds then bake. This way they are nice an hot when your guests arrive.
