    8 count crescent rolls
  • 1
    8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 can(s)
    4.5 oz. mushrooms
  • 2
    green onions
  • 1 Tbsp
    dill, fresh
  • 1
    egg, beaten
  • 1 Tbsp
    poppy seeds

How to Make Mushroom Crescents


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Roll out crescents to seal perforations.
  3. Blend together cream cheese, mushrooms, dill and green onions.
  4. Spread over dough.
  5. Roll as a jellyroll.
  6. Freeze for 15 minutes.
  7. Slice into 1 inch pieces.
  8. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle poppy seeds over top.
  9. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 7 - 8 minutes.
  10. If you are preparing for a party, keep cut pieces refrigerated, and just before guests arrive, brush with egg and sprinkle seeds then bake. This way they are nice an hot when your guests arrive.
