Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons cumin seeds
  • 2 teaspoons fennel seeds
  • 2 teaspoons coriander seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cups pitted green olives, drained (unstuffed type)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 5 cloves minced garlic

How To Make moroccan spiced green olives

  • Step 1
    Heat first 8 ingredients in a skillet over medium heat until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Remove from heat and add olives; toss to coat.
  • Step 2
    Stir in remaining ingredients.
  • Step 3
    Refrigerate in an airtight container for at least 4 hours or up to 3 weeks. The longer they marinate, the better they taste.
  • Step 4
    Drain and serve at room temperature.
