Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups garbanzo beans, rinsed and drained (14 ounce can)
- 6 tablespoons tahini
- 3 cloves minced or grated garlic
- 1 - lemon - juice & zest
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon cumin, or to taste
- 1/8 teaspoon sea salt, or to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, optional
How To Make lemony hummus 2

Step 1In a blender or in the container from an immersion blender, puree garbanzo beans until smooth.

Step 2Add other ingredients and blend until evenly incorporated into bean puree. If too dry, add a tablespoon or two of water.

Step 3Drizzle olive oil over surface, if using. Serve with fresh veggies or pita bread/chips.
