I have bought Hummus in the deli section of supermarket many times. This "homemade" variety is so much better. I prefer it with pita bread, whole wheat tortillas or served with crudites.

Ingredients
- 2 cans chickpeas, rinsed & drained
- 1/4 cup tahini sesame butter
- 1/2 cup water
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon cumin
How To Make hummus

Step 1Place all ingredients into a food processor (or blender) and process until very smooth. If too thick for your taste, add a little more water.

Step 2Refrigerate in air tight container for 7-10 days.
