I am always on the hunt for new dishes to serve when entertaining. This one I found a long time ago (1980's) --and I am still serving it nearly thirty year's later!

  • 1
    package cream cheese (8 oz)
  • 2 Tbsp
    cream or half and half
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 2 1/2 oz
    dried beef
  • 2 Tbsp
    grated onion
  • 1 Tbsp
  • Dash
    garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 c
    pecans, chopped

How to Make Hot Appetizer Casserole


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Mix the first three ingredients together until well blended.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients (except the pecans) and mix well and place in a small, shallow baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the pecans over the top.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, uncovered.
  6. Serve with crackers; refrigerate leftovers.
