Ingredients
- 1 - baguette
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 1/3 cups roma tomatoes, diced
- 1/3 cup green onions, sliced (green and white parts)
- - basil, fresh, diced (to taste)
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese (grated or shredded)
How To Make bruschette

Step 1In a small bowl, stir together tomatoes, green onions, basil, olive oil, garlic, and pepper. Cover and chill.

Step 2For the toast, cut baguette into 1/2 inch slices. Brush both sides lightly with olive oil. Place on an ungreased baking sheet and bake at 425F for about 5 minutes or until desired crispness and golden brown color is achieved. BE SURE TO TURN ONCE.

Step 3Top toast with tomato mixture and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Return to 425F oven for 2-3 minutes or until cheese starts to melt and topping is heated through. Enjoy!
