2-cansof whole water chestnuts
1 1/2 lbsof bacon-cut in half
How to Make Bacon Wrapped Water Chestnuts
- I would pre-cook the bacon but not crisp. It has to be limp to wrap around the water chestnuts. Secure with a tooth pick.
In a sauce pan add 1 cup of catsup
and 1 cup of brown sugar cook this on top
of the stove for 10 min's. put the bacon wrapped chestnuts on a baking pan and cover with the
sauce. cook at 350 for 1/2 hr until bacon is done.
These are so delicous.
