zesty liver pate

My husband loves it and I make him some with crackers. It is so easy to make it. It is so good and tasty.

yield 2 cups pate

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 pound chicken livers
  • 3/4 cup coarsely chopped green onions
  • 3/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 3/4 teaspoon tabasco sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • - crackers or french bread

How To Make zesty liver pate

  • Step 1
    Melt butter in large saucepan; add chicken livers, onions and parsley. Saute until livers are evenly browned and cooked through. Transfer to blender or food processor container. Add wine, tabasco sauce and salt; cover. Process until smooth. Pour into decorative crock-style jar with lid. Chill until thick enough to spread. Serve with crackers or French bread.
