Ingredients

  • 1/3 c
    butter or margarine
  • 1 lb
    chicken livers
  • 3/4 c
    coarsely chopped green onions
  • 3/4 c
    chopped fresh parsley
  • 1/2 c
    dry white wine
  • 3/4 tsp
    tabasco sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • ·
    crackers or french bread

How to Make Zesty Liver Pate

Step-by-Step

  1. Melt butter in large saucepan; add chicken livers, onions and parsley. Saute until livers are evenly browned and cooked through. Transfer to blender or food processor container. Add wine, tabasco sauce and salt; cover. Process until smooth. Pour into decorative crock-style jar with lid. Chill until thick enough to spread. Serve with crackers or French bread.
