Ingredients

  • 2 sticks lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
  • 2 cans (5 oz.) whole water chestnuts, drained
  • 8 slices bacon, cut in half (pepper bacon is extra good)

How To Make water chestnut treats

  • Step 1
    In a medium to large bowl, combine the Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and seasoned salt. Add water chestnuts and marinate for 15 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Drain water chestnuts and wrap half a slice of bacon around each one, securing with a wooden toothpick.
  • Step 3
    Arrange on broiler rack and broil 4 inches from heat, for 2 minutes on each side. Bacon should be crisp when done.
