Weird title. But oh so good! Lil smokies wrapped in bacon glazed with a brown sugar mixture and baked til browned! These little piggies are perfect for parties and get-togethers and I guarantee these simple little bites of heaven (or hell if your on a diet) will be a winner with everyone as these are soooo addicting! These run out fast so be sure to double the recipe! Enjoy!

Ingredients

hillshire farm lil' smokies sausages (abt 1 pkg)
9
slices of bacon
1/3 c
brown sugar
1/3 c
ketchup
1 Tbsp
barbecue sauce
1 tsp
worcestershire sauce

How to Make Pig Candy

Step-by-Step

  • 1Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
  • 2Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and grease
  • 3Cut bacon into thirds
  • 4Wrap bacon around sausages and secure with a toothpick (if you do not have toothpicks just place seal side down)
  • 5Place bacon wrapped sausages on greased foil-lined baking sheet
  • 6Mix together in a small- medium sized bowl brown sugar, ketchup, barbecue sauce and Worcestershire sauce until well blended
  • 7Brush (or dip) brown sugar mixture onto bacon wrapped smokies
  • 8Bake for 30 minutes or until desired brownness or crispness. Serve to your party of guests and watch them disappear quickly!
